Canonical is excited to announce that Redis Labs has joined the Charm Partner Programme. Canonical’s Charm Partner Programme helps solution providers make best use of Canonical’s universal service modeling tool, Juju; enabling instant workload deployment, integration, and scaling with a click of a mouse. Juju makes it easy to deliver complete solutions in minutes, on virtually any public or private cloud through the use of Charms. The Juju Charm Store has over 300 cloud based applications ready to be used on most public and private clouds, as well as bare metal.

Redis Labs is the commercial provider of Redis, an opensource, in memory NoSQL database benchmarked as the world’s fastest. They will be charming Redis Labs Enterprise Cluster (RLEC), which enables users to install an enterprise grade cluster that acts as a container for managing and running multiple Redis databases in a highly available and scalable manner, with predictable and stable top performance.

“Juju fills an important gap in full stack deployments of applications, in that it acknowledges the need for bundles of software services from different vendors that are needed for a fully operational deployment” says Jeffrey Leeds, VP Strategic Alliances & Channels, Redis Labs. “We are excited about this opportunity to create better customer experiences with the high availability, seamless scalability and enterprise class management of Redis Labs Enterprise Cluster(RLEC), available to Juju charm users.”

“With the addition of Redis Labs to our Charm Store, Juju users will now be able to have a productionready option for realtime analytics, fast high volume transactions, inapp social functionality, application job management and caching,” says Stefan Johannsson, Global Software Alliances Director for Canonical.
