7iSolutions joins Charm Partner Programme

Canonical

This article is more than 9 years old.

Canonical is excited to announce that 7iSolutions has joined the Charm Partner Programme. Canonical’s Charm Partner Programme helps solution providers make best use of Canonical’s universal service modeling tool, Juju; enabling instant workload deployment, integration, and scaling at the click of a button. Juju makes it easy to deliver complete solutions in minutes, on virtually any public or private cloud through the use of Charms. The Juju Charm Store has over 300 cloud based applications ready to be deployed, scaled and managed on most public and private clouds, as well as bare metal.

7iSolutions packages SiouxApps, which are enhanced, open source applications such as Redmine, DokuWiki, WordPress, Subversion and others. The applications are preconfigured for business use and are easy to manage by any administrator. 7iSolutions provides optional on-demand training and support.

Michael Hofmann, CEO of 7iSolutions said: “We are thrilled to join the Canonical Partner Programme, which is a perfect fit for our SiouxApp product. We are looking forward to leveraging Canonical’s visionary technologies with our more application and business-oriented approach. The global Charms/Juju markeptlace will help to reach out to numerous potential customers allowing them to benefit from great open source business applications. Definitely exiting times lie ahead.“

Samuel Cozannet, Strategic Programme Manager for Big Data at Canonical said: “7iSolutions edits SiouxApps, a range of open source solutions such as Redmine, Dokuwiki and SVN servers, that they fully support, on prem or in the cloud. While the very limited image based deployment used to be the default option for this class of applications, 7iSolutions is forward looking and adopts the Juju modeling language, that offers them out of the box scale out and compliance with all clouds from a single code base. We look forward to seeing more and more of their SiouxApps in the Juju Marketplace.”
